More Than Pretty Knickers
Join our friends from Eco-Boudoir and Pants to Poverty at an event for the promotion of ethical fashion and to challenge unfair trade practices. The event is to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. A debate from Ben Ramsden will be entitled “How Free Is Our Speech?” and focuses on article 19 in the UDHR.
The gala event takes place on the 10th of December at the Purcell room at Queen Elizabeth Hall. The festivities start at 7:00pm followed by the film “Pants Exposed: Know What’s In Your Knickers” at 7:15pm to be shown outside. A pants show will be held at 7:30pm followed by a debate on rights and abuses in the supply chain of the fashion industry.
