Very Surprising Lingerie Survey Results From Wickedlic Lingerie
Nick over at Wickedelic Lingerie, has sent us some interesting information regarding a survey they conducted with 500 Brits on the subject of full figure women wearing and modeling lingerie. This survey has some very surprising results. Check out the findings below:
“Quarter of Brits say overweight women should be banned from modeling underwear
Plymouth, Devon – Nearly a quarter of British people believe overweight women should be banned from modeling lingerie, a study by UK-based underwear retailer Wickedelic Lingerie has revealed.
The online survey of 500 people found that a staggering 24 per cent think allowing larger females to star in lingerie advertising campaigns promotes an unhealthy lifestyle.”

The survey goes on to say:
Seventy-six per cent of respondents said that plus size ladies should be allowed to model lingerie. Sonia Jeffery, purchasing manager for Wickedelic Lingerie, said she was surprised by the findings. “To be honest I expected the NO figure to be much lower, maybe around 15 per cent, so the results are surprising.”
Sonia continues with:
“The findings are also slightly worrying because if skinny ladies can model underwear, why can’t larger women? Bigger girls buy lingerie, too! Women should always feel comfortable with their figure and the impression given off by most female and male magazines that ‘skinny is best’ is unhealthy and bad for society.
