Seductive Sleepwear form Myla
New collections are out for Myla! Myla always produces exquisite lingerie and this collection is filled with luxurious sleepwear. The Luella babydoll has a touch of bridal feeling to it along with sophisticated seduction making it one of the most appealing babydolls out there. The cut of the fabric accentuates just the right amount of curves while the thin straps add to the already feminine design. Lace adorns the breasts in the babydoll providing a small amount of support and an angelic style. The Luella babydoll ia available in a soft pink color as well.

Similar to the Luella babydoll is the Lydia chemise; it shares the same lace and small straps but is designed in silk gorgette and is much longer. The length and sheer nature of the fabric add a bit of romanticism to the bedroom. It is 100% silk and it looks so very sexy available in black and S, M, L sizes. This chemise is, in my opinion, is more playful and not quite as sophisticated as the Luella babydoll and would work well for those who like whimsy.

The Angelique short is a silk tap pant with a beautiful bow in 100% silk. I love this piece! It is relaxing and a little playful, not to mention it looks so comfortable for sleeping or just lounging around on a lazy Sunday morning. The Angelique short is designed in a Mushroom color which adds a soft and refined quality to the lingerie. This is one of our favorites!

Peach John – Designer Lingerie from Japan
Peach John is a leading lingerie manufacturer in Japan and designs collections several times a year. They are based out of Tokyo and recently produced a line of lingerie from Fergi dubbed “kawaii.” While the information on their site is mostly in Japanese I can tell you this:they design pajamas, sleepwear, bars and panties as well as luxury lines of lingerie. They have a marked youthful feeling to most of the collections and a great range of loungewear items as well. There is an English version of their site but it is very basic with only a few items listed.
There are some fantastic bra sets in their collections!! Satin adorned with lace as well as everyday wear and basic essentials. Take a look at the images below and tell us what you think!!

Ewa Bien Designer Lingerie from Poland
Ewa Bien Lingerie has been designing lingerie and swimwear since 1989 and continually produces some of the finest lingerie in Poland. They source their materials from the same supplies as companies like La Perla and Cotton Club and deliver the same quality craftsmanship and comfort. Their designs are sold in Poland, France, the Czech Republic, Russia, South Africa and Australia; sorry no where in the States, yet. The Ewa Bien site has an e-shop that ships world wide.

The Fall-Autumn collection form 2008-2009 is a very ornate collection, as most Polish designers I have found are, full of lace and embroidered details. Ewa Bien lingerie is definitely “pretty” lingerie, not much of their collection is made up of basics. Almost all of it could be called “glamor” or “fashion” bras but they function just as well as a basics or essentials collection. Satin black bras with royal gold embroidered bras set a stage of femininity and decadence in your everyday life.

Their lingerie, other than bras, seems to be soft, fluid and flowing for maximum comfort. A particularly striking long gown is designed in a semi-opaque sheer material with small nuances of lace trimming, very seductive! In addition Ewa Bien designs cute and playful pajama and lounging sets, although I don’t believe that is what they call them; I wish I could read Polish right now. They are predominantly a bra and underwear designer with ornate and feminine designs.

Ida Gullhav – Norwegian Designer
Ida Gullhav combines the art of vintage styles with tha of sports to create truly comfortable and wearable collections. She has a certain sophistication about her designs delicate laces and mesh fabrics adorn many pieces in the collections along with superb cuts of material. Her label started in 2003 with her first collection after obtaining her Master’s Degree from the The Institute of Clothes and Costumes at the National College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Oslo. She is based in Oslo, Norway and has received the Eye of the Needle prize for the best clothes designer by ‘Henne’ a woman’s publications.
Ida is on of the very few Norwegian clothing designers that designs lingerie. This gives her an edge in the Norwegian market but she will soon make a move into the world market as well. She designs for women and men and we will be adding the “men’s” collections to the directory-sexy.com site soon after launch. Some of her designs are a throw back to vintage styled girdles with specific fabric cut out to retain its modern and sexy feel. Gorgeous silks are used in her slips and camisoles in soft pink colors as well as everyday functionality in the elastic wool fabrics. Not to mention she has some of the prettiest cotton panties we have seen in some time.
Ida was also invited by the Salvation army along with several other designers to re-design used clothing. This was to show the population the massive potential in the clothes they already own. This project was called SOAP and Ida took part in it in 2002. Images can be found below the collections.

Gorgeous Polish Lingerie from Sawren
I love this company! Sawren was one of the first Eastern European companies I found when we first started the DirectorySexy project and I absolutely fell in love with their designs. Their designs are regal, and ornate, almost royal in execution. The finest materials are used in the design and manufacturing process; silks, satins and laces fit for the woman of style. I am not quite sure how long they have been in business or even where in Poland they are located; I don’t read Polish but really wish I did at this point. Sawren does seem to cater to the full busted woman; a large array of full cup bras and larger sizes indicate this to me.

They also design some of the most aesthetically pleasing corsets around, the Empire corset and the Ayla corset are fantastic! The Empire corset, which is below in the images, has a choker attached to it with small delicate laces, and is designed in a polka dot fabric. This adds a bit of playfulness to the corset. The accent of sheer lace towards the front of the Empire corset keeps the garment, in my opinion, a little refined. So you get the best of both worlds.

Their bras are ornate and completely feminine; their is no mistaking that. Adorned with lace accents and designed in silks and satins the Sawren bras deliver comfort style and seduction. From the everyday to the glamorous Sawren has a bra for the function. They do design and manufacture some babydolls and camisoles but they mainly design bras and a few corsets.

Our Favorite Camisoles
After all the research and searching we have done we definitely have our favorites. Camisoles, in my opinion, are perhaps the most versatile lingerie garment next to the bra. They can be worn to seduce, as an accent to business suits or just for lounging. Although camisoles started as an undergarment they can be worn alone similar to a tank top or sleeveless shirt. The lingerie as outerwear movement within the fashion industry has brough camisoles to the forefront of fashion in the form of layering. This of course most of you already know, so let’s get to the lingerie….
Brigitte Camisole from Sonata Lingerie
This gorgeous camisole is adorned with silk chiffon and pure silk trimmings. Light and sheer this camisole is definitely for seduction, but under a business jacket it could be the sexy accent you have been looking for. Sonata Lingerie is one of DirectorySexy’s favorites and Sonata Rapalyte delivers stunning lingerie pieces time after time. We believe she is here to stay.

La Perla is a well known name in the lingerie fashion industry and for good reason. They produce fantastic collections each and every year and provide high quality craftsmanship in every piece. This camisole is from the Malizia Homewear collection is is the essence of lounge. This camisole is versatile: work out int, layer outfits or just lounge at home or use it as pajamas – that’s what my Jessica does and it is so cute. These camisoles have an almost college feel to them as this style is popular among college students, or at least it was when I was in school. This camisole ranks high for its versatility and great fit.

This is so flirty, playful and young in style that it has to be on our favorites list! The light lace accents on the outer edges of the up place just enough attention on the breasts. The light peach colors and slim offest straps add to the playful nature of the desgin; a must have for bedroom vixens.
Dana Pisara 'Ivana' camisole at Nancy Meyer
This is a sheer lace bust camisole perfect for layering with an open blouse, blazer or business suit. I do have to say that I am a huge fan of lace under the business suit. No woman should leave femininity out of their business wardrobe! The design is ultra comfortable and very light weight adding to its sex appeal. While it is not designed for pure seduction this little piece could be paired with some lace boyshorts or Frenc knickers for a truly dramatic effect!

Lingerie Styling Site from Prima Donna
LingerieStyling.com is a site dedicated to to the proper fit, feel, and look of lingerie brought to us by Prima Donna. The site speaks of how professional fitting and lingerie styling is available at every shop were Prima Donna and Marie Jo labels are sold. From finding the right size, most women still wear the wrong bra size, to finding the bra that fits your personality; the stylist will make sure the color, style and functionality of the bra is perfect for you. The stylist will work with you to provide the best solution to your shopping needs.
Further into the site, it explains that no woman should hesitate to tell the stylists what they truly want. If you are looking for a half-cup bra tell them, or if you really desire a sheer bra tell them. The idea is that the stylist can only work with what they are given and you will only get the most out of your styling experience when both you and the stylist are working toward the same end. Of course this is true no matter where you shop. There is a great section that explains the correct way to put on a bra,; you may find it here. They also provide a section on wearing the right style of lingerie for your body type – more or less a table with examples, but its still pretty cool.
