Sonata-Lingerie E-shop Just Launched!!
We have been anticipating this moment for a few months now as we have been talking with Catherine from Sonata Lingerie. The new E-shop is here!!! Sonata Lingerie was met with huge success with their first first collection last spring which was full of glamorous and elegant styles. Especially the Solstice Bodysuit, one of our personal favorites. The shop has every collection available for purchase. The collections are Spring/Summer 08/09, Autumn/Winter 08/09, Essentially Sonata 08/09, Beach 08/09, and their Bed Linen collection.
Solstice Bodysuit Spring/Summer-08
The sophisticated Spring/Summer 08/09 collection is marked by gorgeous silks and delicate laces that accent the femininity and empower the women who wear it. Adorned with Swarovski crystals several pieces in the collection simply shine, even before being worn. Met with much praise from online sources like Style Hive, Styleteria Magazine, and Glam UK. Such offline publications as Intima Magazine and The Sun newspaper have highlighted and featured Sonata Lingerie in the past few months for their sophisticated and glamorous designs.

Essentially Sonata is an easy to wear 100% linen collection for every day. These pieces can double as outerwear, wear the slip as loungewear or as a top, it is completely up to yo. For this season, Autumn/Winter 08/09, the Solstice bodysuit has been designed in pure lace and 100% silk trim for dramatic effect. Carmine and Scarlett feature deep red satin fabric. Carmine is a cupless bra with a removable gusset while Scarlett features light bra padding and both have matching knickers. “Midnight Sun” is a made to order range marked by 100% silk and the finest silk chiffon detailing. The range contains a silk chiffon slip, matching knickers and a matching g-string. The range is also adorned with amber embellishments adding a subtle sophistication to the already elegant design.

Frankly Darling – Lost on the Web?
Deborah Sim dreamed of creating women fantastic lingerie without any non-sense, hence the name ‘Frankly Darling.’ She uses luxe fabrics and simple designs to convey a playful yet classy label. She creates both lingerie and loungewear.

Corset Care
Corsets are one of the most empowering items a woman can wear. Corsets, at least quality corsets, are fairly expensive and need to be cared for and respected to ensure you have them for years.
Longline sweetheart overbust corset
First, never fully submerge your corset in water for washing. The water will make the internal metal boning rust and considering the boning is covered with fabric it will be next to impossible to see. After wearing your corset take a damp cloth and gently wipe the interior lining of the corset. Should you need to have the entire corset washed, use only dry cleaning and by hand if that service is available.
Sweetheart Corset Specially Designed for D-G cup sizes
Second, never, and we mean NEVER, let anyone but you wear your corset. A corset will, over time, conform to your individual shape after being worn. Allowing someone else to wear it will change the shape and the fit of the corset when you wear it next. Corsets are very person items, and should be treated as such. Think of a corset like a pair of knickers or underwear and ask yourself this: Do I want to wear someone else’s underwear?
Spot clean any stains or marks in the corset by hanging form the back of a door or the back of a chair. Let the corset air out for a few hours, generally overnight. Next take a warm damp cloth and a very light detergent like Woolite, and gently rub the area in need of cleaning. Next use another damp cloth to wipe away any residual detergent that may be present. Allow the corset to dry and it is ready to be worn again.

Helpful Tip – Never remove your corset while it is still laced. This will cause warping of the corset and alter its shape creating a poorly fitted or unwearable corset in extreme instances.
