Falke started out as a knitting company founded in 1895 by Franz Falke-Rohen. He started with 8 employees and in 1928, when he passed, he left his family with a workforce of 800! It is in this year that his son, Franz Falke Jr, entered th outerwear industry. Finally, in 1958, Falke entered the industry of stocking, sock, and pantyhose production.
Today Falke produces some of the finest hosiery in the world, with a great line of fashion stockings and tights, and a shapewear collection.

Twice every year northern Europe descends upon Copenhagen for Fashion Week. You will find over 2,200 international collections, along with more than 1,000 exhibihtions at the trade fairs.

The trade fairs during Fashion Week Copenhagen are as follows: CPH Vision, Gallery, which is a showing of all Scandanavian brands, and the Copenhagen International Fashion Fair. Copenhagen Fashion Week will take place from August 6th – 10th. The shows are filled with new catwalk talent from Denmark and their upcoming ranges.

Fashion Week in Copenhagen is run and planned by the Danish Fashion Institute which is “a newly founded network organisation created by and for the Danish fashion industry.” The Danish Fashion Institute aims to promote, and drive the Danish fashion industry. Some of the designers attending are: Ann Sofie, Elise Gug, Rützou, Wood Wood, Noir, Noa Noa, annhagen, by Groth, In Wear and countless others.
